Hiplife musician Bak Tye is confirmed dead

- Top Ghanaian musician, Bak Tye, has been confirmed dead 

-The rapper died on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Ridge Hospital in Accra 

- According to reports, the musician died from chronic Tuberculosis he was batting with for years. 

The Ghanaian showbiz industry has been thrown into mourning following reports of the death of hiplife artiste Bak Tye. In a report sighted by Shataghana.ml Bak Tye died at age 39. He died from chronic Tuberculosis he was batting with for years. According to reports, Bak Tye, born Ekow Zagla, died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra on Sunday, July 28, 2019.



Per reports, the hospital is yet to give the official report. However, the family of Bak Tye is convinced the chronic tuberculosis killed the musician. Bak Tye, a contemporary of Shatta Wale (then Bandana) and Samini (Batman) burst onto the music scene with a monstrous hit called 'Yenpie'.

The song which featured Samini was produced by Agyengo was the party anthem for 2004 and beyond.

After that track and album, Bak Tye became one of the most sought-after artistes and had collaborations with Mzbel on her breakthrough 'Awoso Me' and Kofi Nti among many others.

He was almost on every show that happened around that time and was just as big as any other artiste but he went into oblivion after sometime only to resurface in a bad shape.
